Yvan Doucet, owner of Gicleur Doucet, inherited his knowledge of fire protection, so to speak. His father, Émilien Doucet, founded the company in 1984, and later passed the reins on to him.
Today, he can count on a team of four employees to install sprinklers for commercial, institutional and industrial customers, while providing fire departments and insurance companies with reliable expertise in applying their recommendations for fire protection measures.
Gicleur Doucet employees and management are united by a strong team spirit, as is their impeccable reputation for professionalism.
We are certified by the Régie du bâtiment du Québec (RBQ) and the Association patronale des entreprises en construction du Québec (APCEQ).
Certification and compliance
A reliable ally for insurance companies
Our concern for safety means that we work closely with the fire brigade, following their recommendations to the letter.
Gicleur Doucet is also a reliable ally for insurance companies. The recommendations they submit to their customers are passed on to us, and we implement them; for example, we can place arrows indicating the direction to follow to get to the sprinkler system inside a building (evacuation plan) in response to an insurer’s request. We also carry out inspections to ensure that all your installations comply with applicable standards.
Finally, we carry out the annual fire safety inspections required by insurance companies, after which we issue an inspection certificate, which can be placed near the entrance to the company’s premises.
